Trying to find out how many gallons of water your system uses during a Clean cycle? You'll need to do a little calculation. We can help with that! Let's get started!
1. You'll want to start by pressing the Select button, and then keep pressing Select until you reach the 'Backwash' screen.
2. Note the number listed after the bA -. In this example, we see 2 minutes on the screen.
3. Go ahead and press the Select button again to show the Fast Rinse time. Note the number of minutes listed after the Fr -. In this example, we see 1 minute on the screen.
4. Now we'll calculate the gallons of water discharged. The drain flow rate is listed at 3.4 gpm flow rate so let's plug those numbers into the calculation.
( Backwash min + Fast Rinse min ) x 3.4 gpm = Gallons Discharged
Example
( 2 min + 1 min ) x 3.4 gpm = gallons discharged
(3 min) x 3.4 gpm = 10.2 gallons discharged per cleaning cycle
