How do I Extend My Softener's Warranty?

Our extended warranty gives you piece of mind, while also helping you maintain your softener on a routine basis. 

What does my warranty cover?

Your Morton® Water Softener is backed with a full warranty on parts right out of the box. The time frame for full coverage depends on which model you purchase - a more detailed explanation can be found in the back of your Owner's Manual.

Why extend your warranty?

Extending your warranty not only provides you with additional coverage, but the regular upkeep of your system with Morton® Water Softener Cleaner keeps it running efficiently and helps extend its lifespan so it continues to provide high-quality, soft water for years to come.

How to extend your warranty?

1. Register your product
2. Purchase Morton® MWSC Water Softener Cleaner
3. Purchase and use 3 bottles of cleanser per year. Each year you do this, you'll extend your warranty one additional year (example below).
   
4. Save your receipts - they must reflect purchasing 3 bottles per year, from the date of purchase.
   

Example:

You purchase your new water softener in January of 2022, and it comes with a 1-year warranty, meaning you're covered until January 2023. You'll need to purchase and use three bottles of cleanser in that first year, to get an extra year of coverage through January 2024. Repeat this the next year to gain another year of extension (for up to five years).

*Use of any water softener additive other than Morton® MWSC will not provide extended warranty coverage.
