Wondering about the light on your softener's front panel? If you see that light flashing, your softener might need some attention. Let's take a look at what it means.

M34 and MHY
- Flashing: Your softener's salt level is low. After adding more salt, visit our Salt Level Programming article to learn how to reset your salt level.
- Flashing with 'CLEAn' shown: Four months have passed, meaning it's time to use a bottle of MortonĀ® Water Softener Cleanser.
M45C (with WiFi)
- Green: Your softener is successfully connected to the iQua server.
- Flashing Amber/Yellow: Your softener is in Connect Mode and ready to connect to WiFi.
- Red: Your softener is receiving a wireless update.
