There are several moving parts and seals on the Valve Head of your softener. The article below will help you determine where the leak is coming from, and how to properly troubleshoot.
Valve Head
1. Is there standing water in the valve cover receptacles? (pictured below)
a. NO; continue to step 2.
b. YES; there is most likely a seal broken inside the valve head. We recommend replacing the Rotor/Seal Kit. If you are still under warranty, have your serial and model number handy and Contact Us. Otherwise, replacement parts can be purchased here.
2. Is there water standing in the tray where the valve head connects to the tank below?
a. NO; please Contact Us to connect with a representative about the leak on your system.
b. YES; We recommend replacing the Distributor O-ring Kit. If you are still under warranty, Contact Us for warranty info. Otherwise, replacement parts can be purchased here.
