With the recent iQua® update, you may be receiving a weekly notification stating that your water shutoff valve has been opened. This is an intentional maintenance feature. This weekly function is meant to prevent rust build-up and ensure the shutoff valve is still functioning properly. What it's doing is the valve is already open but it closes and reopens to ensure it's working - this is why you are receiving the notification that it's been opened.
You may notice the notification comes at the same time each week. Notifications will likely stop with future app updates but the function will still continue to ensure it's working correctly.
