📢 The iQua® app has had a recent upgrade and navigation through the app differs from the older version. Please ensure your app is up-to-date before proceeding with the instructions below.
Did your softener lose connection to the home wifi? Or maybe you recently installed a new router, or are moving your softener to another home. Follow the steps below to successfully connect to the network:
1. First, you'll need to unplug your wireless router and water softener.
2. Then go ahead and plug both of them back in.
3. Now, turn your mobile device off and then back on.
4. Once it's back on, open up the iQua® app.
5. In the app, go to the home screen and tap the '+' icon to start connecting.
Note: If your softener already appears on the home screen, don't worry - adding it again will simply reconnect to it, not duplicate it.
6. On your softener, press and hold the Up and Down buttons together for three seconds, then let go when 'Conn' appears in the display.
7. In the app, select 'Setup Device' - it will begin searching for the system. If it says it's not found, hit 'Retry'.
8. When it's found, the Device Name will show up and you can select 'Yes'.
9. It will go through a few screens to set up. Once it's done that, you'll select your network and then enter your wifi password.
You'll see the display change from "Conn" to C-1, C-2, and C-3 at various points during the connection process:
10. It will say "Setup Complete" and then you'll need to give your device a name and add your address information. You can skip this or add your information in and then continue on. If you skip you'll be brought back to your home screen with the softener.
11. Once complete, the softener should return to displaying the clock. If everything is connected but 'Conn' or one of the 'C' codes still appears, press the 'Select' button.
